What are the benefits of owning a BSL gas mixer?
Owning a BSL gas mixer provides precise, customisable gas blending capabilities for various applications, leading to increased efficiency, cost savings and more.
How can BSL gas mixers save me money?
BSL gas mixers do not require electricity or buffer tanks, which eliminates the need for expensive cylinder deliveries. This results in a significant reduction in costs associated with gas mixing operations.
Do you provide lower flow, portable gas mixers and analysers?
BSL gas mixers come in all shapes and sizes and we offer a range of small, hand-held gas analysers to complement them.
What grade of gas filters do you supply?
We provide filters for all major industrial gases with a 0.01 micron filter media. We also recommend using a 60 micron strainer in the line that feeds the mixer to protect it from high-speed particles, especially if the installation hasn’t been purged adequately.
Can I request a specific gas blend ratio?
Yes, we can set specific gas blend ratios for you.
Can I mix hydrogen without an electrical input?
One of the key advantages of most BSL gas mixers is that they operate entirely through pressure and mechanical means, requiring no electrical power or buffer tank. This makes them ideal for mixing hydrogen for heat treatment or furnace applications without the need for electrical power or large buffer storage tanks.
What makes BSL mass flow control valves so beneficial?
The main feature of these valves is their effectiveness in setting and controlling the flow of gas, especially when the downstream pressure changes, for example when filling a buffer tank.
What gas filtration systems do you provide?
We offer a range of high-quality gas filtration systems to meet the safety and quality needs of our customers.
Is 15 bar g pressure the limit for a BSL mixer?
No, many of our low-pressure gas mixers are suitable for use at pressures around 15 bar or less.
What are the pros and cons of owning a gas analyser?
BSL gas mixers come with a very detailed test certificate describing every detail of the calibration and certification. When clean and dry gases are used with your mixer, it will consistently deliver precise and accurate results.
