Originally commissioned by Guinness Ireland in 1990, our blenders were designed with the goal of being able to mix gases in the event of a power outage. Through years of developing and perfecting this design, we’ve achieved accurate gas mixing without the requirement for an electrical supply. The absence of a buffer tank means no solenoids or pressure switches, translating to a system that not only functions, but operates perfectly without electricity!
The optimal gas supply pressure varies based on your unique circumstances. Generally, we tailor on-site gas mixing to suit the required application. For welding applications, a 4-5 bar g line pressure is often suitable, and achieving an optimal flow of mixed gas for your process may require a supply pressure of around 10 bar g.

Rest assured, our gas mixers are equipped with a built-in safety interlock that functions independently of power supply. Our pressure mechanical system diligently monitors all gas supplies. If one of the gas supplies is absent, the mixer will cease to pass any gas, ensuring safety and control.
